MAGIMERCS - EDDIE

Satoshi Hayato, commonly referred to as Eddie, is one of the canon characters of MagiMercs, and it's main protagonist inside the story. Eddie is a "Normal academy student with music as a side hobby", currently studying in River Styx Academy as a student of offensive and defensive magic.

APPEARANCE.

Eddie is a humanoid ghost that stands at around 1,72 meters tall, typically having a cyan tint. He is normally seen with dark, empty eyes that lack pupils, a big, messy hair that covers the right side of his hair, and commonly wears long, torn japanese kimonos, simple track shorts under the kimono, and always walks barefoot. He can also be found with more traditional summer wear, switching the kimono for a dark sleeveless shirt.

PERSONALITY.

Eddie is known for his kindness and passiveness, preferring to fix things through talking than having to do any effort. While he cares for his world and his friends, he typically avoids danger or things that are hard to ask, constantly enphasizing that he "only fights when he needs to. No more, no less."

Despite his general kindness, Eddie is known to have outbursts in response to anger, confusion or joy, having moments of "mania" that drastically changes how he acts.

STYLE AND SPELLS.

Eddie's magic style is known as Scattering Winds, and it allows him to control the speed and direction of the air around him as he pleases. This has it's limits, primarily it can only go at a maximum speed of 70 KM/H, and it cannot be used to directly affect the state or existance of this air, only it's position. Eddie has used this in many ways, but his main spells are:

Slash - Eddie focuses the wind at a long, straight line, acting as almost a gigantic slash in the air. This does not cause actual cuts, but can destroy things around him depending on their stability.

Zeppelin - Eddie concentrates the wind right under his body, causing him to bounce off the air. Similar to flying, but needs to hop off other objects to work.

Awaken: Rockets Fall on Rocket Falls - Eddie's awakening, which turns his body into the eye of a tornado. In this state, he can only walk, but the tornado will slowly destroy anything around it, and use it's debris as projectiles. Lasts for 5 minutes, and knocks out Eddie right after the end of it's activation.

BACKSTORY.

Eddie, as a ghost, cannot remember any of his past lives, but he does remember waking up inside a shoddy tomb in the middle of Hokkaido, Japan. After walking for days, he met an old farmer, who took him under his care for the foreseeable future.

At the age of 19, Eddie got the chance to do an internship to Rocket Falls, and attend the River Styx Academy, the biggest magic academy in the world. Without thinking twice, Eddie made his bags, said goodbye to his caretaker, and quickly took an airplane to Rocket Falls, where he lives to this day.

TRIVIA.

Eddie has no physical body! He is only able to be physical due to a spell.
