THINKING STYLES.
Thinking styles are the way you approach a situation! The way you think and how well you’re acquainted with thinking like that is important to determine your success in an outcome.
Instead of being physical attributes (which are kind of redundant in a world where laser beam fights happen on a daily basis), this is how your character thinks when characters need to approach a situation, and what it calls. In total, there are 5 thinking styles:
- Force (FORCE) - We go in, no fear, no regrets! Characters with high force are fearless, and go into situations by just ramming themselves into it with strength and might.
- Strategy (STRAT) - Are you set for the task? Do you have all the necessary tools? Can you really do it? Characters with high strategy will always be ready for any situation, carrying items and important knowledge just in case.
- Style (STYLE) - If you’re gonna do something stupid, at least make it cool! Characters with high style will always make things flashy, trying their best to make whatever action they must do stylish and awesome-looking.
- Quickness (QUICK) - Think twice? You didn’t even think once! Characters with high quickness, while not being the most effective, are the fastest, and will always make things as speedy as possible.
- Caution (CAUTI) - Careful now, don’t want to make any bad moves… Characters with high caution will never take risks, and they’ll always triple-check for anything wrong before taking an action.
The way you get them works like this: You have to choose which one will be +5, +3, +2, +1 and -1, and the number the thinking style has is used as a modifier that's added to your 2D6 rolls.
